Philanthropy -

Our national philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals.  Locally, we support the Prisma Health Children's Hospital - Midlands. All donations benefit local member hospitals to fund what’s needed most, like critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays, and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services.

In 2025, we raised over $10,000 for Prisma Health Children's Hospital - Midlands!

 

Deity - 

"Deity" serves as a reminder that there is a greater power in healing. This principle is a core part of their mission to create physicians of integrity. We have over 340 alumni compassing medical students, practicing physicians, and distinguished emeritus members.

Education and Equity - 

Our member's studies spans a wide range of majors, from Neuroscience, to International Business, English, to Cardiovascular Technology. Moreover, SC Alpha includes a variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures. Each member contributes to inclusion and our culture is the result of that diversity. As future physicians, we believe every person and patient should be treated with equity and respect.
